There’s a new oven in Pro Litho’s kitchen!

Now you many be wondering why an oven in an office kitchen is worth a blog post. In most cases, it wouldn’t matter. But, the purchase of this oven has added a whole new dimension to a Pro Litho tradition: Food Days.
Frank and Yen — known to many clients as key members of Pro Litho’s sales and customer service teams — have another important role here. They plan and organize staff luncheons. At first there was the occasional summer barbecue. But now, luncheons — or perhaps feasts — happen year round. There are soup days, taco fiestas, chili dog days, and lasagna, and the list goes on ... with new ideas always brewing. We are a company filled with creative people, after all!
The new oven was put to use for the first time just last week when Frank, Yen, and their crew prepared about 30 pounds of corned beef and served it up with cabbage, boiled potatoes, carrots, and all the fixins’ for reuben sandwiches. Brisket roasted in the oven as well as with cabbage and veggies that simmered in large pots in the parking lot.
Here is one of our owners — Gary Larson — attending to (or is he just anticipating?) the goodness:

Staffers and clients — whoever happened to be lucky enough to be on site that day — ate and ate well! Leftovers came out the very next day for a new variation over the lunch-hour — Reuben Paninis a la Frank served with fresh-baked cookies by Yen:

Not surprisingly, the next food day is already in the works. So, if you find yourself in the neighborhood and smell something cooking, stop on in ...
